Lights, Camera, Compassion!

An unforgettable evening awaits. The United Hospital Center Holly Ball Committee is delighted to announce the theme for the 67th Annual Holly Ball… Midnight in Paris

Join us on Saturday, February 6, 2027, as we transform The Morris into a celebration inspired by the romance, elegance, and timeless charm of Paris after dark. Think sparkling lights, unforgettable entertainment, exquisite cuisine, and an evening filled with love—all in support of United Hospital Center’s Outpatient Surgery Center. More details, sponsorship opportunities, and ticket information will be announced in the coming months.

Until then… Paris is always a good idea.

This is Where… You Make a Difference

AND HAVE A LITTLE FUN WHILE YOU’RE AT IT.

Embrace the Tradition

The Holly Ball has changed throughout the years, and many wonder why the event is held now in February. We continue to honor the tradition and the spirit of those who started it all.St. Mary’s Hospital and Union Protestant Hospital Auxiliaries held the first Holly Ball on Thursday, December 28, 1961. Mrs. Christine McCuskey and Mrs. Marjorie Bailey, Auxiliary Presidents, greeted guests with their welcome message: “After the needles have dropped after holiday candles have burned out, your gift to the Holly Ball will still shine, bringing joy and helpfulness throughout the year, to the old, the young, the weary, the ill and afflicted. May this great spirit carry you through a bright and rewarding New Year.
